Now, a thousand years later, it is a wasteland polluted by manmade toxins. The sky is blacker than ink and a thick layer of smog suffocates all life. Everything is dead.
Looking closer, there are several glistening domes scattered throughout the land, connected by covered highways. These shiny cities reside in bubbles of fresh air that pumps out toxic waste. The planet itself is dying but it seems like the inhabitants are oblivious to it.
